President Donald Trump has requested 5 billion dollars from Congress to begin his proposed border wall along the Mexico-U.S. border. President Trump ran on the promise that Mexico would pay for the wall but it is becoming more evident that in fact, U.S. taxpayers will pay the bill. The refusal to come to an agreement has led to the third government shutdown of this administration.
